In a big speed trap marathon the police and civilian officers set up 8500 speed traps all over Germany today. ( !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! ) Some of them even used camouflage tactics to blend in with an urban environment. But was it really all over Germany?

No! In Krefeld this Llama decided to escape from it's paddock and it took the police some time to catch it. Time they would have otherwise spent milking motorists.

Ha! I used to live just outside of Krefeld, in Anrath. This sounds like something I would expect to happen there.

I saw ONE cop on traffic duty today, and he was in plain sight. This was in Wiesbaden.

This was an effort to increase awareness, as they say, regarding especially critical locations. I drove in a decidedly defensive manner today, as I expected to see at least some blue ... nope.
